In this customizing task you can specify default payment dates for contracts with other legal relationship. You can use these settings if, for example, the payment of contracts with other legal relationships is made on pre-defined dates at your company.

If you create a payment in the infotype Contracts with other legal relationships (3261), the system proposes a future date which is the closest to the day of payment creation from the dates specified here. You can overwrite the proposed date in the infotype.

Your company usually makes payments for contracts with other legal relationships on 10, 20 and 30 of a specific month. According to this you enter these dates for each month of the year in this task.

When the administrator enters a new payment on 5 January, the system proposes 10 January as the payment date because this is the future date closest to the date of entry from the dates specified in the task.
