TEXV_EXP_FLW_TYPE - Define Exposure Activity Types

Configure your exposure activity types. The exposure activity type is a required entry when you create a raw exposure.
The sub raw exposures are created for a raw exposure in accordance with what you enter here.
In the maintenance view, choose New Entries to enter a new exposure activity type and then specify the following:
- 5-character short name
- Raw Exposure Flow Category for FX
- Risk Not Relevant
- Incoming
- Outgoing
- Risk Not Relevant
- Long Position
- Short Position
- Descriptive text of up to 20 characters
- Exposure Approach Category
- Raw Exposure Release Type
- For raw exposures with floating prices, determine the value with which the commodity exposure is handled before fixing takes place. Enter the commodity price determination strategy. When you have chosen the strategy Update with Commodity Prices According to Commodity Curve, you also have to determine the commodity curve type.
- Change Global Setting on Exposure Activity Type Level
- For each exposure activity type, determine which fields are available for the raw exposure. Mark the exposure activity type and choose Field Selection. For each area, define whether the fields are required, optional, suppressed, or displayed only.
- Save your entries.
- The exposure activity type for commodity sales invoiced in a foreign currency could have the following settings:
- CSFC
- Incoming
- Short Position
- Commodity Sale in FC
- Fixed and Floating Prices
- Manual
- The exposure activity type for commodity sales invoiced in local currency could have the following settings:
- CSLC
- Risk Not Relevant
- Short Position
- Commodity Sale in FC
- Fixed and Floating Prices
- Manual
