SAP E-Book

You use this Customizing activity to activate the BRFplus for contract types that are valid from dates in the future.

In the standard system, the BRF calculates the property tax. In order to use the BRFplus instead of BRF, you must activate the BRFplus.

You must specify the date for each contract type on which the BRFplus is activated.

You must also specify a BRFplus application name and a BRFplus function name to connect the contract type with BRFplus.

BRFplus analyzes this information and determines the tax calculation.

You can specify whether the BRFplus generates traces of the calculation run and should save them for later.

You have made settings in Customizing under Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable for the following activities:

o,,Configure Tax Rate for Tax Calculation

o,,Define Format for the Name of the Parcel

o,,BAdI: Property Tax Calculation

In the standard delivery, the calculation is based on rules defined in BRF.

You have made settings in Customizing under Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) for the following activities:

o,,Define Condition Types

o,,Number assignment, validation, substitution

If you implement BAdI: Real Estate Contract: Property Tax, a list is created automatically that contains all valid contract conditions.

o,,Define Condition Groups and Assign Condition Types

o,,Assign Condition Group to Contract for Each Contract Type

You have set up a BRFplus application with a function that receives the parameters that contain the relevant data for the property tax calculation. You have set up the rules for the property tax calculation with the BRFplus Application Framework.
