In this Customizing activity, you can determine which hedging relationship scenario you want to use by choosing a hedging profile. The hedging scenario carries the following information:

• Which product categories are allowed to be used as a hedging instrument

• How each product category is valuated in the effectiveness test

You can exclude specific product types of a product category from hedge accounting.

If you exclude a product type from hedge accounting, the check-in function Manage Hedging Relationships (transaction TPM100) does not allow you to designate this product type, even if the product category of the product type is allowed.

You can overrule the calculation method for the effectiveness test for a product type from the default value.

All entries are optional. The system runs with the scenarios delivered by SAP, but you can enter a different scenario if you wish to deviate from those delivered. The system still works, even if both tables are empty.

Make the required settings.
