THXV_PRODTYPE - Define Product Types for Exposure Subitems

Define the product types for exposure subitems created during the automatic designation process.

You assign the relevant product types in the hedging area master data.

• On the Main Data tab, you can enter the default product type for your exposure subitems.

• On the Hedge Accounting II tab, you can replace this default product type by another product type for exposure subitems. This maybe useful if you want to differentiate the posting for the different kinds of hedging instruments.

In the maintenance view, choose New Entries and specify the following:

• Product Type

• Name of Product Type

Assign both a short and a long text to the product type.

• Product Category

Use the input help to select the product category Exposure Item.
