TIBRSUBPOSCAT - Assign Subcategory to Category

In this IMG activity you can assign the predefined categories used in the broker report (premium, loss, commission, costs) to subcategories that you define.

The subcategory is a separating attribute when grouping open items to broker report items. This means that can be used as a new selection parameter in broker report items.

The system generates a totals document for each subcategory when posting the broker report.

• In this IMG activity, assign your custom subcategories to the predefined categories.

• In the IMG activity Assign Categories for Broker Collections to Main and Subtransactions, you can assign new combinations of category and subcategory to document types.

• In the IMG activities Define Line Layout Variants for Item Entry and Define Line Layout Variants for Fast Entry you can define the subcategory as a field in your line layout/variant.

• In IMG activity Define Specs for Broker Summary Postings you can assign new document types and clearing reasons to your combination of category and subcategory.
