TIDX_PRICE_INDEX - Define Price Index

Define price indexes.

• Price indexes are required for the Index Valuation valuation step during the key date valuation as well as for the accrual/deferral of interest for certain money market product types related to the price index. Usually, these kind of product types are needed in countries/regions with high inflation.

• You can enter the values of the price indexes using the Enter Price Index Values app on SAP Fiori launchpad.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Assign a name to the price index.
3. Enter a descriptive long name in the Index Text field.
4. Enter the index base.
5. Enter the daily method.
6. Specify the number of decimal places to which rounding must be performed.
7. Specify how interpolation takes place. (Not relevant)
8. Enter the increment. (Not relevant)
9. Additional Parameters for Parallel Conditions

• Interpolation

• Apply

• Compounding Frequency

1. Fixing Date

• Working Day Shift

• Calendar Days

1. Rounding

• Factor Accumulated

• Factor

• Index

• Day Fraction

1. Save your entries.
