In this Customizing step, you see which standard organizational views are used for the organizational charts in Succession Planning. The HR OCI interface (function module HRMSS_GET_ORGSTRUCTURE_AS_XML) displays the organizational charts.

The standard system contains the following organizational views with corresponding object selections and object selection rules:

  • TMC_DI_REP_T
Shows the direct reporting structure from top to bottom. The direct relationship 002 (Reports (Line) To/Is Line Manager Of) is used between the positions of employees and managers.
  • TMC_DI_REP_B
Shows the direct reporting structure from bottom to top.
  • TMC_FN_JF_C_S
Shows the job architecture from top to bottom. This includes functional areas, their job families, their jobs, and the positions that are assigned to the jobs.
  • TMC_S_C_JF_FN
Shows the job architecture from bottom to top.
  • TMC_IN_REP_T
Shows the indirect reporting structure from top to bottom. The indirect relationship 742 (Indirectly Reports To/Is Indirect Manager Of) is used between the positions of employees and managers.
  • TMC_IN_REP_B
Shows the indirect reporting structure from bottom to top.
  • TMC_MAN_DIR_REP
Shows the employees that directly report to a manager.
  • TMC_O_SUCC_T
Shows the successors within the organizational structure from top to bottom. Meaning organizational units and their positions, as well as the successors that are assigned to these positions.
  • TMC_O_SUCC_B
Shows the successors within the organizational structure from bottom to top.

If you want to use the standard views, you do not need to make any settings.
