TMC_0063 - Assign Storage Locations and Maximum File Size
BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header data ABAP Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
To avoid performance problems for a large number of uploaded documents, you have created new logical and physical classes via the Document Modeling Workbench for the HCM_TMC document area. You must enter the names of these new classes in the standard parameters so that the processing program of Talent Management can use these new storage locations.
For more information about the Document Modeling Workbench, see SAP Library and choose SAP NetWeaver -> Knowledge Provider -> Document Management Services.
In this Customizing activity, specify the following settings for documents and notes:
- Maximum permitted file size
- Technical names for logical and physical classes of the document area of the Knowledge Provider area (KPro) of talent management (HCM_TMC)
You only need to perform this Customizing activity if you have created new logical and physical classes. The logical and physical classes must be activated.
SAP provides the following assignment of classes to the standard parameters for the KPRO_DOCUMENT_HANDLING parameter group:
Description | Parameter Name | Parameter Value |
---|---|---|
Maximum file size (2MB) | ALLOWED_FILE_SIZE | 2097152 |
Logical class for documents | LOGICAL_CLASS_FOR_DOCUMENTS | DOC_LOIO1 |
Logical class for notes | LOGICAL_CLASS_FOR_TEXTS | TXT_LOIO1 |
Physical class for documents | PHYSICAL_CLASS_FOR_DOCUMENTS | DOC_PHIO1 |
Physical class for notes | PHYSICAL_CLASS_FOR_TEXTS | TXT_PHIO1 |
If you have created new logical and physical classes for Talent Management in the Define New Storage Locations for Documents and Notes Customizing activity, assign these new classes to the corresponding standard parameters.
