TMC_0105 - Define Types of Talent Review Meetings

In this Customizing activity, you define which types of talent review meetings the talent management specialist has available for selection when planning.
Note- If, when creating a talent review meeting, the talent management specialist selects a type of talent review meeting that is assigned a calibration grid, the talent review meeting uses this calibration grid. In the Customizing activity Specify Grid to Be Used, you can also define which calibration grid you want to use for your talent review meetings. Depending on the situation, talent review meetings therefore use different calibration grids. For more information, see the "Note" section of Specify Grid to Be Used.
- In this Customizing activity, do not change the assignment of a calibration grid to a type of talent review meeting while this type is used in a talent review meeting that has not yet been completed.
- You have defined at least one calibration grid in the Customizing activity Specify Settings for Grid.
- In the Customizing activity Define Follow-Up Activities for Talent Review Meetings, you have created follow-up activities.
In the standard SAP system, the following types of talent review meetings are available as an example:
- Performance Calibration
- Calibration grid: SAP_PERFORMANCE_GRID
- In this calibration grid, you can change the performance of the talents but not the potential.
- Follow-up activity: Update performance documents
- Talent Calibration
- Calibration grid: SAP_TALENT_GRID
- In this calibration grid, you can change the potential of the talents but not the performance.
- Follow-up activities:
- - Update potential documents
- - Approve or reject talent group nominations
- In this Customizing activity, create the types of talent review meetings that you want.
- Assign the calibration grid you want.
- Assign the follow-up activities you want and define a sequence for them.
