SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity you can define colors that you assign to the boxes of a calibration grid. When the talent management specialist plans and conducts a talent review meeting that uses this calibration grid, the boxes in the handout and in the grid view are displayed highlighted in color.

For example, you can use the same color for more than one grid box to make related segments of the calibration grid visible.

To do so, define color names and assign them hexadecimal color codes.

Note the following factors:

  • You can choose any color names.
  • You can use each color name once only.
  • You are not to use the following color codes:
  • #E9EFF6

In the standard SAP system, this color is used for the box that the talent management specialist selects in the grid view.
  • #C4D0A0 and #F1FFC4

In the standard SAP system, these colors are used for the field into which, in the grid view, the talent management specialist moves a talent using drag and drop.
  • #FCDD82

In the standard SAP system, this color is used for talents that the talent management specialist selects in the grid view.
  • #EDEDED

In the standard SAP system, this color is used for talents that the talent management specialist moves the mouse over in the grid view.
  • We recommend that you do not use dark colors since, for example, the title of the grid boxes is displayed in black font.

The standard SAP system comprises a few sample colors.

  1. In this Customizing activity, create color names and assign them color codes.
  2. In the Specify Settings for Grid Customizing activity, assign the color names that you want to the boxes of the calibration grid.
