Description

Important: Read the general information beforehand in the Copy of Standard Customizing Settings. section.

To copy, proceed in the following order:

  1. Copy Transaction Manager basis settings.
If you have not done so already, first import the Transaction Manager basis settings. You need these if you use the Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives or Securities components. You only need to import these settings once to make them available in all Transaction Manager applications. These settings are not critical and incorporate the settings across the whole Transaction Manager for view authorizations, correspondence, limits, reversal and valuation.
  1. Copy uncritical settings for Derivatives
  2. Copy critical settings for Derivatives
Prerequisites for copying:
  • Company code 0001 exists in the target client.

  • Planning levels WB, WP, OB, OP, BO, BP exist.

  • G/L accounts 133000, 113150, 113100, 113155, 113105 are defined for chart of account INT (used for account assignment reference definition and account determination)

  • Document types SA (G/L accounts) as well as posting keys 40 and 50 (G/L account) exist. Check in account determination that the document types, posting keys and G/L accounts exist as in the delivery clients.

Have ALL prerequisites been met? If so, you can copy all critical settings.
  1. Maintain number ranges and other settings manually.
  • Define Number Ranges for OTC Options.

  • Define Number Ranges for Class Data of Listed Options/Futures.

  • Define Number Ranges for Underlying Transaction.

  • Automatic Determination of Account Assignment Reference.
