In this Customizing activity, you define the master data associated with a crew. Crews are uniquely identified by a crew ID, and are assigned to a maintenance plant and work center.

Crews are assigned to work tickets and to regular task maintenance, and are managed according to a shift schedule.

Defining crew master data is not mandatory.

Crews are used within Two-Ticket (TTS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) plant management solutions in China.

You are using enhanced Work Clearance Management (WCM) functions within Plant Maintenance (PM).

You have implemented the PM, Two-Ticket Localization Topics for China business function.

In this Customizing activity, you maintain crew master data using the Crew Attributes (TTS)(TTSM1) transaction or the Crew Attributes(V_ITTS_SFT) Customizing view.

The Crew ID field is used to uniquely identify a crew; the 20 character alphanumeric ID forms part of the primary key. The primary key also includes the Plant, and Work Center fields.

The crew ID is used by different system functions to restrict the list of possible crew members. This restriction is applied to simplify crew member selection and data entry, for example, during work ticket creation. In practice, a user can still choose team members from other crews (or even select workers not assigned to a crew).

Crew details are stored in the WCM: Application (WCAAP) table, and crew member data is stored in the Crew Member Information (TTS_SFTSAVE) table via function TTS_SHIFT_SAVE.

  1. Start the Crew Attributes (TTS) (TTSM1) transaction.
  2. Determine the following:
  • The plant where the crew works

  • A unique crew ID

  • A description for the crew

  • The applicable work center for the crew

  1. Save the crew data.
