In this Customizing activity, you assign individual crew members to a crew. Crews are assigned to complete maintenance work (work tickets and regular task maintenance), and are managed according to a shift schedule.
Assigning crew members to crews is not mandatory.
Crews are used within Two-Ticket (TTS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) plant management solutions in China.
You have defined master data for the maintenance crew in Customizing activity Define Crew Attributes.
You are using enhanced Work Clearance Management (WCM) functions within Plant Maintenance (PM).
You have implemented the PM, Two-Ticket Localization Topics for China business function.
In this Customizing activity, you maintain crew members using the Crew Members' Assignment (TTSM2) transaction or the Crew Members' Assignment(V_ITTS_SFT_MEMB) Customizing view.
The Personnel ID field is used to uniquely identify a crew member. The system completes a check on the ID to ensure that the same crew member is not assigned twice to a crew. There is a one-to-one relationship between the crew ID and the crew member's personnel ID.
When crew members are assigned to a crew, then the crew members default for a range of system functions, such as the following:
- When a crew is assigned to a work ticket, then the assigned crew members are listed as possible entries in the crew list
- When a crew is defined in a shift diary, then the assigned crew members are listed automatically in the crew list
- Start the Crew Members' Assignment (TTSM2) transaction.
- Determine the following:
- The plant where the crew works
- The maintenance crew ID
- The personnel ID for the crew member
- Save the crew data.
