In this Customizing activity, you define how approvals (permit levels) are associated with system level approvals.

Customizing activities for work ticket approvals fall into two categories, as follows:

  • Activities to define the approval level, based on plant and usage (work ticket type)
This consists of three activities, first to create the approval levels, then to arrange them in a sequential hierarchy, and then to link them to standard system approval levels.
  • Activities to define the properties (input, display, or hide) for fields in each sub-screen for each approval level

Approvals are required for work tickets within Two-Ticket (TTS) and Three-Operation (TOS) plant management systems in China.

You are using enhanced Work Clearance Management (WCM) functions within Plant Maintenance (PM).

You have implemented the PM, Two-Ticket Localization Topics for China business function.

In this Customizing activity, you maintain the Define Dependent on System Status (WCVP4) Customizing view.

You use this view to link the standard printingand preparedsystem level approvals with your company-specific approvals (permit levels).

For more information about linking approvals to system status, see the Define Dependent on System Status Customizing documentation.
