TTS_SM_0020 - Define Execution Types

In this Customizing activity, you define the execution types that are required to support safety measures and supplemental safety measures. These execution types are applied to work tickets within Two-Ticket (TTS) and Three-Operation (TOS) plant management systems in China.

Execution types provide greater detail for a required precaution, and can have two descriptions. Descriptions for execution types are provided for both left and right positions, as the description may vary depending on the spatial orientation.

Defining execution types is not mandatory: if you do not complete this Customizing activity, then it is still possible to complete work tickets.

You are using enhanced Work Clearance Management (WCM) functions within Plant Maintenance (PM).

You have implemented the PM, Two-Ticket Localization Topics for China business function.

In this Customizing activity, you maintain details for execution types using the Execution Type Maintenance (TTSSMEX) transaction; this transactions uses the Execution Types (V_TTS_SM_EXETYPE) Customizing view.

Note: Execution types can be defined with two descriptions, as the description may vary depending on the left or right orientation of the task.
