In this Customizing activity, you define template texts that for risk analysis comments. Risk analysis comments are entered when a work ticket is created, and are used to specify operational risks and hazards relating to maintenance work.

Defining template texts is not mandatory, however, it is recommended.

Work tickets are used within Two-Ticket (TTS) plant management solutions in China.

You have defined the work ticket types available using the Maintain Work Ticket Types Customizing activity.

You are using enhanced Work Clearance Management functions within Plant Management.

You have implemented the PM, Two-Ticket Localization Topics for Chinabusiness function.

You can create one template for each usage value (work ticket type). A template text can consist of one or more lines; a maximum of 10 lines is available for template texts.

If you define a template text for a work ticket type, then it is automatically inserted into newly created work tickets. The inserted template text can be updated by the user as required.

Note: You can continue to change template texts when they are in use. However, the texts that have already been included in work tickets are not automatically updated.

In this Customizing activity, you maintain the Template Texts for Work Ticket Risks (TTSTWR) transaction; this transaction uses the Template Texts for Work Ticket Risk Analysis(V_TTS_DP_TEMP) Customizing view.

  1. Start the Template Texts for Work Ticket Risks (TTSTWR) transaction.
  2. Specify the following:
  • The type of work ticket that requires the template text, for example, electrical work ticket

  • A sequential name for the template text line

  • Note: You can define a maximum of 10 sequential names for each work ticket type. The sequential name is common to all template texts; this means you should use sequential names that can apply to all work ticket types.

  • The template text

  1. Save the template text.

For example, you have consulted the workplace expert and developed some some standard risk analysis texts for three types of work ticket. The template texts are based on the points that supervisors routinely provide when entering risk analysis details for a work ticket. You define the template text as follows:

Usg. Text Name Template Text
WT1 Default comment line1 1 Points for location (electricity, power)
WT1 Default comment line2 2 Points for environment (temperature, pressure)
WT2 Default comment line1 1 Points for device
WT2 Default comment line2 2 Points for tools and equipment
WT3 Default comment line1 1 Points for weather
