T_SLS_LO_OIF_CONFIG - Configure User Interface
CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES - Frontend Services General Material DataThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In your capacity as IT administrator, you can check the configurable user interface (UI) for the Web Dynpro application Sales Processing (LO_OIF_MAIN_APP) in this activity, and tailor it to your company-specific processes if required. The user interface is specially designed to help your sales representatives carry out their specific sales tasks quickly and effectively.
Note:
Besides configuring the user interface, you can also implement your company-specific business
logic using Business Add-Ins (BAdIs). You not only modify the user interface in this case, but also
influence data processing. For more information, see Customizing for Sales and Distribution under
Portal Role "Internal Sales Representative" -> Business Add-Ins -> Simplified User Interface for Sales Processing.
The standard system contains the following configurations with which the Web Dynpro application Configurable Sales Processing for Sales (LO_OIF_MAIN_APP) is executed:
- Application configuration
LO_OIF_SDOC_APPL
Application configuration for sales document (sales processing)
- Component configurations
Component configurations with the prefix LO_OIF, such as LO_OIF_FORM_HEAD
Configuration for sales processing: Header data
When you start this activity, you get a list for the application configurations and for the component configuration.
- You can call the required list using the relevant link.
- The lists take the form of personal worklists. You can adapt the content of the lists to suit your personal tasks by changing the query and personalizing the view.
- You can edit the configurations as follows:
- If you want to edit or create an application configuration, choose the list with the application configurations.
Select a configuration and choose Open Configuration Editor.
- If you want to edit or create a component configuration, choose the list with the component configurations.
Select a configuration and choose one of the following options in the Open Configuration Editor function:
- Open Editor for Component Configuration
- Open Editor for Customizing Configuration
- The system starts the configuration editor and copies the identifying configuration data to the next window in the editor.
This provides the functions for further processing in the configuration editor. You can display the data for the selection configuration, for example, or use it as a copy template for creating a new configuration.
Adjusted Layout for Editing Process
- A sales representative who is responsible solely for sales order entry only requires part of the user interface. You can configure a simple application for sales processing for this particular user group.
- Sales representatives who have responsibility for the entire sales process, on the other hand, get a complex application with a variety of different tab pages, functions, and information blocks.
