UA_UPLMAP_PRELIM - Assign New Field Names

Determine object types to be selected and their field assignment that are different from the standard system import case where there are missing source values for selected key characteristics of the object type used in the standard system import.

(For example, if, where the source value for the Plant field is missing, an object of type 'provisional material' is to be created instead of a material (standard import object type set). Instead of field 0Material, field CEPMAT is to be filled with the material number.)

You must have generated the Costing Model of the data basis (transaction UAST).

Enter the field assignment for the data basis and the new object type to be used where the source value of the key field defined is missing.

Define the alternative field to be substituted and assigned for the original object type, the object type to be created where there are missing values for the key field defined in the previous step, and the alternative field to be assigned of the new object type.

Define for data basis 1PDCE the /1FB/CEPMAT field to be filled with the material number for object type 1PCE to be created instead of the /1FB/Material field for object type 1CE to be created. (In the previous Customizing step, the object type 1PCE was defined instead of 1CE for the case /1FB/Plant as a missing key value.)
