UDM_EXT_PROCESSING - BAdI: External Processing of Dispute Cases

You use this Business Add-In (BAdI) in the component Dispute Management (FIN-FSCM-DM). It is part of the Processing of Dispute Cases by an External Application scenario.

With this BadI, you can transfer the processing of a dispute case to an external application. The interface IF_EX_UDM_EXT_PROCESSING and methods PUBLISH_CASE and CHANGED_ATTRIBUTES are available for this.

You call this BAdI during dispute case processing and in the program for the Transfer of Dispute Cases (UDM_PUBLISH_DISPUTE_CASES).

The following activities are involved:

• Read access to the dispute case

• Issue of messages

You have defined the required application under Define External Applications.

There is no default code. The BAdI is filter-dependent. Create an implementation for each external application required.

In the standard system, BAdI implementation CRM_COMPL_EXT_PROCESSING is activated for the application Claims Management (CRM-CLA) of SAP Customer Relationship Management. The open items of the dispute case relate to a sales promotion. The check whether this invoice deduction is justified is made in SAP Customer Relationship Management. This is why processing the dispute case is transferred to SAP Customer Relationship Management.
