You use this Business Add-In (BAdI) in the component SAP Dispute Management (FIN-FSCM-DM).

With this BAdI, you can permit activities for a dispute case for the user that are passed on to an external application and that are consequently locked for processing in SAP Dispute Management. The interface IF_EX_UDM_EXT_PROCESSING_FCODE and method CALL_EXT_OBJECT are available for this. You call the BAdI in dispute case processing by choosing Process in External Application.

The following activities are involved:

  • Read access to the dispute case
  • Issue of messages
  • The dispute case has already been transferred to the external application and so is locked for processing.

There is no default coding. The BAdI is filter-dependent. Create an implementation for each external application required.

In the standard system, BAdI implementation IMP_CRM_CCM_EXT_PROCESS_FCODE is activated for the application Claims Management (CRM-CLA) of SAP Customer Relationship Management. This way you can subsequently change a dispute case that has been transferred to the Claims Management system, and so is locked for processing in the SAP Dispute Management system. Making a change in a dispute case already locked is necessary, for example, in those cases where the tax amount contained has to be displayed. The user makes this change in the Claims Management system.

For information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.
