UJ0_PARAMETER - Set Global Parameters

You can set the following global parameters for Planning and Consolidation, version for SAP NetWeaver. They function across environments.
CLM_CURRENT_CHUNK
Use: (Optional) Records which chunk is read from the database.
EnablePrinting
Use: (Optional) If Yes, printing capabilities are available for users through the Crystal Reports engine. If No, printing is unavailable in the Web user interface.
MAX_CHUNK_SIZE
Use: (Optional) When a user uses the export function, the system splits enviornment data into different chunks to avoid a memory dump. This parameter specifies the maximum chunk size the system reads from the exported data.
MaxSystemReportQuerySize
Use: (Required) Used for system reports. Maximum query size in cells before zero compression, before the system asks the user to continue or cancel the query.
MaxWebReportQuerySize
Use: (Required) Used for Web reports. Maximum query size in cells before zero compression, before the system asks the user to continue or cancel the query.
MIN_CHUNK_SIZE
Use: (Optional) When a user uses the export function, the system splits enviornment data into different chunks to avoid a memory dump. This parameter specifies the minimum chunk size the system reads from the exported data.
SMTPAUTH
Use: (Required) The authentication method of the SMTP server.
0 = Anonymous
1 = Basic
2 = NTLM
This setting does not change the method on the SMTP server, but it must match the type of authentication enabled on it. Failure to set this appropriately can result in errors from the e-mail server.
SMTPPASSWORD
Use: (Required) The password for the user name sending e-mail.
SMTPPORT
Use: (Required) Port number for the SMTP e-mail server. The default is port 25, the default SMTP server port number.
SMTPSERVER
Use: (Required) The name or TCP/IP address of the SMTP e-mail server the system uses to send e-mail.
SMTPUSER
Use: (Required) The user name from which e-mail from the system originates.
To set a parameter for Planning and Consolidation, perform the following steps:
- Perform transaction SIMGH.
- In the Edit IMG Structure page, search for and select BPC Configuration in the IMG Structure field.
- Open the Find structure editor.
- Enter BPC Configuration as a title of the structure description and then choose Execute.
- In the next window, select BPC Configuration and choose Copy.
- You can add it as a favorite by choosing the Favoriteicon.
- Choose the Change IMG Structureicon.
- Select a parameter level to manage by choosing the IMG - Activity icon beside the desired parameter level.

- Environment
- Model
- Specify an environment, a model, or both, as necessary, then choose Execute. The list of parameters displays.
- To modify the value of a parameter, select a parameter and choose the Change icon. Make and save your changes.
- To insert a new parameter, choose the Insert icon, then do the following steps:
- Enter the name of the new parameter and choose OK.
- Specify the value of this new parameter and choose OK. c.
- Save your changes.
