UNDAL - Maintain Dependency Allowance Selection Feature

In this IMG activity, you maintain Determine Dependency Allowance lookup table indicators feature (UNDAL). In this feature you configure the personnel calculation rule used to retrieve the Dependency Allowance amount that is stored in table DSDA.

The Dependency Allowance is based on:

  • Pay Scale Type
  • Duty Station
  • Effective date
  • In Receipt of date
  • Type of the dependent allowance

The return value of the feature determines:

  1. The Dependent allowance amount indicator. These are defined in Family Characteristics table (T577).
  2. The additional amount to be used for disabled children. These defined in Family Characteristicstable (T577).
  3. The date to be used for In Receipt of. This is the date in which the person receives the allowance.
