This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Application Framework (CA-MDG-AF) component. You use this BAdI to adjust the hierarchy processing user interface.

The BAdI methods are as follows:

  • Disable Navigation from Entity Links in Hierarchy Processing (DISABLE_NAVIGATION)
  • Show or Hide Columns in Hierarchy Processing (FILTER_COMPONENT)
  • Fill Hierarchy Attributes in Insert (Unassigned) Popup (GET_HRY_ATTR_DEFAULT_VALUES)

Standard settings

The BAdI is filter-dependent. You can create a separate implementation for each MDG data model.

The BAdI is designed for multiple use.

You can find example implementations in the BAdI Builder on the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the Implementation Example Classes section.
