In this Customizing activity, you can create a display variant for pricing elements and select the rows in a pricing procedure for which the pricing elements are to be available for display or output.

You can use the display variant in a dedicated business scenario where the pricing elements of some rows in a pricing procedure are to be available for display or output.

1. Create a display variant.
2. For a variant, select the rows that are to be available for display.
3. To display the selected pricing elements in a price list, you must define the relevant fields for output in Customizing activity Define Fields.

You create a price list and want to display the value of a specific discount in this price list. You create a display variant and select the discount in the pricing procedure. You make sure that the necessary fields are added and marked for output in the Customizing Define Fields. When the system creates the price list, the system displays the discount.
