VCOL_LEADING_LOC - BAdI: Determination of Preferred Location of a VLCO

The Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/SPP_VCOL_LEADING_LOCis used in theService Parts Planning(SPP) application component.

You can use this BAdI to define a logic for how to determine the preferred location of a location for consolidated ordering (VLCO). You can distinguish between VLCOs that consolidate entry locations and VLCOs that do not consolidate entry locations.

In the active default delivery, the preferred location is determined as follows:

• Preferred Location if the VLCO Consolidates Entry Locations

If the VLCO consolidates entry locations, the system determines the location with the shortest freeze horizon as the preferred location.

• Preferred Location if the VLCO Does not Consolidate Entry Locations

If the VLCO does not consolidate entry locations, the system determines the location with the longest procurement lead time from the parent location to the location as the preferred location.

The BAdI is active in the standard system.

The BAdI is not filter-dependent.

The BAdI is not designed for multiple use.
