In this Customizing activity, you can specify which fields you want to appear on the Assignmenttab of General Datain the screens for processing asset retirement obligations. You can also specify whether the fields you select to appear on the Assignmenttab are either one of the following:

• Optional entry

• Mandatory entry

Your selection of fields should reflect the accounting entities you want to post to Asset Accounting (FI-AA) using SAP S/4HANA for accounting integration.

If you want to use your assignment scenario, you specify its three character name at the level of individual obligations types in combination with individual company code groups in Customizing for SAP S/4HANA for asset retirement obligation under Basic Settings> Define Obligation Types and Obligation Type Configuration.

SAP delivers one default assignment scenario: 100.

1. Enter a three-character assignment scenario and an assignment scenario description of your choice.

2. Choose Object Assignment.

3. Choose New Entries, Assignment Type, and then select one of the following in Attribute:

• Invisible: Field is hidden

• Input Enabled: Entry in field is optional

• Required: Entry in field is mandatory

4. Save your assignment scenario.
