VC_DMND_PROJ_STATUS - Define Demand Status Groups

Allows you to define status groups for project demands and specify the permitted statuses and status sequence for each status group.

Different types of project demand differ in the way they are processed and thus also in the requirements they raise with regard to status management. To meet these requirements, you can define different status groups and assign the appropriate statuses to each status group. You define the sequence of the statuses in a status group by specifying the following:

• Which of the assigned statuses is to be set as the initial status of a project demand when it is created

• Which of the assigned statuses is the final status in the status sequence

• Permitted follow-on statuses for each status of the status group except the final status

In the Customizing activity Define Demand Types, you can assign status groups to the demand types for which they are to be used.
