Use this step to enter various descriptors for the short attributes in Exposure Management.

The short attributes SH01 and SH02 are available in the header data of the raw exposure, whereas attribute SI01 is available in the line items of the raw exposures.

Note: In the predefined configuration, the predefined exposure position type YFX is assigned based on the condition that the short attribute SH01 is set to FX - FX Exposure.

In the Define Substitution Rules for Exposure Position Fields configuration app, you can define substitution rules using these fields.

Activities

  1. In the first maintenance view in which headings are maintained, choose New Entries and enter the following:
  • Attribute ID

  • Short text (up to 10 characters)

  • Description (up to 20 characters)

  • Long name (up to 40 characters)

  1. Save your entries and then select your new attribute and choose Short Attribute Texts and Values in the Dialog Structure.
  2. In the resulting view, enter the texts and values that you want to apply to your new short attribute. For example, you can enter "A" for "Allowed" and "N" for "Not allowed".
