VC_QA_T77TB01 - Define Airports, Routes and Fares
ROGBILLS - Synchronize billing plans PERFORM Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this activity, you do the following steps:
Define Airports | Enter the airports that are relevant to your implementation. |
Assign Airport to Route Code | Create routes from one airport to another (for example, CAI-DXB). |
Assign Fares to Route Code | For each route that you create, assign the corresponding ticket fares. The settings are country/region-specific. The fares can be defined per travel class, and you can specify different amounts for the employee and dependents (for example, adult, child). |
Assume that you want to set up the system to cover ticket benefit for Egyptians working in the United Arab Emirates. For simplicity, you want this to cover the following scenario:
Your company location | United Arab Emirates |
Airports | Cairo Intl Airport and Dubai Intl Airport |
Travel class | Economy and Business |
You would make the following settings:
Define Airports
Airport Code | Airport Name |
---|---|
CAI | Cairo International Airport |
DXB | Dubai International Airport |
Assign Airport to Route Code
Route Code | Origin | Destination | Route Name |
---|---|---|---|
R001 | DXB | CAI | Dubai-Cairo |
Assign Fares to Route Code
Here, you create two entries for route code R001 under country/region code AE for United Arab Emirates, as follows:
Field | Economy | Business |
---|---|---|
Travel Class | E - Economy | B - Business |
Employee Fare | 2,000.00 | 4,000.00 |
Adult Fare | 1,000.00 | 2,000.00 |
Child Fare | 500.00 | 1,000.00 |
Infant Fare | 100.00 | 200.00 |
Currency | AED | AED |
