This Customizing activity contains two subtasks:

  • Including the entity type for sentiment assignment
  • Excluding entities of a particular entity type for sentiment assignment

In this Customizing activity, you can select the entity types to be processed for sentiment assignment.

In this activity you can also exclude specific entities belonging to a particular entity type.

Entity Type to Be Included

To include an entity type for sentiment assignment, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the entity types you want to include for sentiment assignment in the Include Entity Type checkbox.
Note: You can select the entity types form the list of values pre-delivered by SAP.
  1. Select the Include All Subtypes checkbox, if you want to include all sub types of the selected entity types for sentiment assignment.
Note: The Include All Subtypes checkbox is enabled only for those entity types that have subtypes.
  1. Choose Save.

Example:

If you want to process sentiment assignment for the LOCALITY entity type, proceed as follows:

  • Select the Include Entity Type checkbox.

If you want to include the GEO_AREAentity type, you must select the Include Entity Type checkbox for this entity type. This entity type has two subtypes such as GEO_AREA/DOMESTIC and GEO_AREA/INTL. If you want to process all subtypes belonging to GEO_AREA, select the Include All Subtypes checkbox.

Excluding Entities of a Particular Entity Type

To exclude entities for a selected entity type, proceed as follows:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. In the Entity field, enter the entity to be excluded.
  3. Choose Save.

Example:

To exclude an entity for a selected entity type, enter the value for the entity in the Entity field. For the ORGANIZATION/MEDIAentity type, if you want to exclude a particular entity like #RT. You must enter the value #RT in the Entity field.
