VC_SXES_BUSOBJGR - Define Object Groups and Assign Object Types

This IMG acitvity is only relevant in an mySAP Business Suite environment.

In this IMG activity you can define object groups that contain searchable objects. Object groups are used to restrict the business object selection on the SAP Enterprise Portal UI according to the role concept (but you can also group other object types).

For each object group you can define a display name on basic search UI.

In the detailled view you assign searchable object types to the object groups. One object type can be assigned to multiple object groups.

You have connected at least one search service provider and extracted a list of searchable object types in the IMG activity Define Search Service Providers and Object Types.
