In this IMG activity you can define services to expose the meta search engine (MSE) through an OpenSearch-compliant interface.

OpenSearch is an open standard that collects simple formats for the sharing of search results. The OpenSearch-compliant MSE interface can be used either by special OpenSearch clients, by basic RSS 2.0 feed-readers or by using the Internet browser, for example Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or Mozilla Firefox 2.0.

1. You enter the host and service endpoints of the description service, query service, and proxy service.
   Make sure that the entries here exactly match the service endpoints defined in the service repository.
2. You define the degree to which the client can exploit the results and if the results may have adult-only content.
3. You enter detailed descriptions of the service.
   The descriptions are language depended. Make sure the texts are available in the language that is set in your OpenSearch client.
