VC_T165P_S - Define Copying Rules for Item Texts

In this step, you define the copying rules for item texts in service entry sheets.

You use copying rules to determine which text types can be adopted from other objects (purchase orders, for example) as item texts for service entry sheets. You link text types available in the service entry sheet with text types that exist in other objects.

You can adopt item texts from the following objects:

• Purchase order

• Contract

• Material master

Check the predefined links for adopting text.

If you want to modify these links to fit your requirements, proceed as follows:

1. Select the text type required and choose Text linkages.
2. Enter the source object required (for example, PO) and the source text (for example, item text).
