In this IMG activity, you define training programs consisting of individual training items in order to define the training requirements for each function and status and record the actual training activities completed by persons using infotype 0806 (Training Data).

For each activity, enter an ID, a validity period, and description:

  • In the Training Program section, define the required training programs.
  • In the Define Training Courses section, define the selectable training items.
  • In the Training Definition section, define the training items (see Define Training Courses section) within each training program for which you want to define requirements and record training activities.
  • In the Function (Training Program) section, define the intended functions (activity profiles) for each training program.
  • In the Status (Training Program) section, define the required level of training for each training program function.
  • In the Planning Data per Training Item section, select the required training items (that you define in the Training Definition section) for each function status and define the target values.
  • In the Qualification to Training Assignment section, specify the qualifications (as required) that you want to derive from the entered training activities and assign to the corresponding persons.
  • In the Training to Training Assignment section, specify the training items for which you want to transfer the recorded training activities from the higher-level training item (if required). This is done only when you transfer training data that was recorded for missions to the personnel master data. You can only assign training items with the same unit as the higher-level training item. In the IMG activity BAdI: Control Transfer of Training Data, you can define how training data is to be transferred in detail.
  • To be able to specify an additional function when entering training activities, you have to define these functions in the Additional Functions (Training Program) section.
