SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity, you can define which tables are used for site maintenance, and which type of maintenance runtime (view, program, or transaction) is used to maintain the table entries.

Note

In the Table field, enter the name of the Customizing tables that are used within site maintenance.

Now you can proceed in one of two ways:

  • Maintain the table entries in this Customizing activity
  • Use the generic table maintenance view

If you choose to maintain the table entries in this Customizing activity, only one of the following three fields must be filled for each table:

  • Maintenance View: Enter the technical name of the view, if the table entries should be maintained by a view that is not generic.
  • Maintenance Program: Enter the technical name of the program, if the table entries should be maintained by a program.
  • Maintenance Transaction: Enter the technical name of the transaction, if the table entries should be maintained with a transaction.

The following two fields are used to submit values:

Field Name in T001W to Read Customizing: You enter the technical name of the field that has values that are submitted for the maintenance of the table entries.

Field Name in Customizing to Read T001W: You enter the technical name of the field that is used to receive the values for the maintenance of the table entries.

Grp: In this field, you enter the number of the group that determines the tab on which the Customizing table is displayed.

No.: In this field, you enter the position on the tab at which the Customizing table is displayed.

If a non-generic maintenance, copy, or check method should be used for a Customizing table, a corresponding method must be created within the class CL_WFIL_CUSTOMIZING_TABLES. Use one of the following naming conventions:

  • MAINTAIN_
  • COPY_
  • CHECK_

You can use the message parameters from one of the existing methods.
