Allows you to map tax results from tax service to condition types for sales pricing procedures.

In this Customizing activity, you can map the results that come from the SAP Localization Hub, tax service to the condition types. You can choose a standard class that is already in the system to execute this mapping or you can implement your own mapping class to meet your custom requirements.

By default, the system uses the mapping predefined by SAP. You can see these mappings in SAP Mappings.

If you want to do your own mapping configuration, select the sales pricing procedure for which you want to map tax results to condition types, choose Custom Mappings, and specify the following data:

  • Country or region
  • Condition type
  • External tax code
  • Tax type code
  • Tax Due Category
  • External Jurisdiction Code
  • Map Class Name

When you specify this data and the system is processing the specified condition type, it reads the results from SLH, tax service for the external tax code and tax type code and if they are the same as the ones specified in the customizing activity, the system uses the class you chose to set the attributes for that condition type.

Note: This configuration step is not valid for Brazil.

You have, for example, specified the following information in the Customizing activity:

  • Ext. Cntry/Rgn Cde:CA
  • Condition type: MWST
  • External tax code: 300 (Standard Sale)
  • Tax type code:1 (VAT)
  • Tax Due Category: leave empty
  • External Jurisdiction Code:leave empty
  • Map Class Name: CL_TXS_STANDARD_TAX_MAP

This means that when the system is processing the MWST condition type and the results from SLH, tax service are:

  • 300 (Standard Sale) for the External Tax Code
  • 1 (VAT) for the Tax Type Code
  • CA for Country/Region

The system uses the CL_TXS_STANDARD_TAX_MAPclass to set the attributes for that condition type.
