You can use this BAdI to enhance customer service actions.

The BAdI has the following methods:

  • CHANGE_DOCUMENT_STATUS_CRIT: Enhance selection criteria for status values
    Customer service documents (service notifications, service orders) adopt different status values depending on the processing status. These can be system or user status values. In VMS, specific status values are prerequisites or are not allowed per action when you select the customer service documents.
  • GET_URL: Specify URL for HTML control
    The action SMNO Create Service Notification contains an HTML control, the content of which can be determined individually. If you want to use this HTML control, you have to specify the URL with which the Web interface is to be displayed in the HTML control. Data is available in parameters VLCACTDATA_IS and VLCDIAVEHI_IT for executing actions and for the relevant vehicles. You can, for example, call up different defect catalogs for different vehicle models.
  • HTML_ON_SAPEVENT: React to actions in the above-mentioned HTML control
    The data returned by the HTML control can be transferred in the parameter VLCACTDATA_SUBITEM_CT.
  • FILL_NOTIF_ITEM_CLASS_EVAL: Create classification
    You can create classification data for a notification item in action SMNO Create Service Notification. You can determine the features of this classification in this method.
  • FILL_ORDER_OPERATIONS: Create transactions
    You can create transactions for the service order in the action
    SMOR Create Service Order. You can change and/or add transactions in this method.
