VMP_VCM_PLNSCP - Configure Planning Scenario

You use this Customizing to activate or de-activate the following planning scenarios for creating a planning scope alternative:

• Document Based Non-configurable

This scenario allows you to create a planning scope alternative where the EBOM is derived out of the document linked to an .rh file and the target being a non-configurable structure.

• Document Based Purchased Part

This scenario allows you to create a planning scope alternative for a purchased part. The planning scope alternative of a purchased part is not available for planning.

• PSM Based Configurable

This scenario allows you to create a planning scope alternative where the EBOM is derived out of the Product Structure Manager (PSM) and the target being a configurable structure.

• Doc to Non-Config with Network

This scenario allows you to create a planning scope alternative where the EBOM is derived out of the document linked to an .rh file and the target being a non-configurable structure. It also allows you to load a Project System network and assign components to the network activity. The reference points are copied from network activity to the assigned MBOM components.

• Doc to Non-Config Group BOM

This scenario allows you to create a planning scope alternative where the EBOM is derived out of the document linked to an .rh file and the target being a non-configurable structure. This scenario is plant independent. The target structure is a non-configurable group BOM.

• PSM to Configurable Group BOM

This scenario allows you to create a planning scope alternative where the EBOM is derived out of the Product Structure Manager (PSM) and the target being a configurable structure. This scenario is plant independent. The target structure is a configurable group BOM.
