VSDDC_PRODH_ORIG - Define Relevant Date for Product Hierarchy Determination

Set the date that is relevant for determining the product hierarchy.

In this step, you define the date that the system uses to determine the appropriate product hierarchy in a sales document or billing document.

1. Select a purpose of the product hierarchy in a business document.

Note: For this activity, you can only select the Sales purpose.

1. Select a distribution chain. A distribution chain is made up of a sales organization and a distribution channel.
2. Select the date that the system uses together with the distribution chain to determine the valid product hierarchy identifier (ID), for example Document Creation Dateor Pricing Date.

Note: If you do not select a specific date, the system uses the pricing date to determine the product hierarchy ID.

1. Save your settings.
