Define access sequences for material listing and exclusion in sales.

You can define access sequences based on condition tables. An access sequence defines the order in which the system reads condition records to find valid data for a condition type, and each access is made using one condition table.

Follow-up Activity

For settings that you make in this configuration activity, the system creates extension items that require manual transport to the production system. After saving your settings, the system administrator must perform the following steps:

  1. In the system in which it was created, add the corresponding extension item to the export list and export the software using the Export Software Collectionapp.
  2. In the production system, import the software collection using the Import Collection app.

For more information, search for the respective app name in the relevant version of SAP S/4HANA Cloud on SAP Help Portal.

Remember to always release transports containing extension items before releasing the standard configuration transports. This prevents errors and inconsistent transports.

NOTE: In listing/exclusion configurations, the system creates extension items for custom requirements (containing BAdI implementations created in the Custom Logic app) and for access sequence settings (that is, the settings you make in this configuration activity). If you have assigned a custom requirement to an access in this configuration activity, the system administrator must transport the extension item that contains the related BAdI implementation prior to the extension item that contains the access sequence settings.

For an exclusion type, you can specify that the system first searches for country-specific or region-specific exclusion and then for customer-specific exclusion.

The system offers standard access sequences A001 and A002 for material listing and B001 and B002 for material exclusion.
