In this customizing activity, you can set the value of the Claims proration (CLPRO) payroll constant. This constant holds the value based on which the system decides the proration logic for the claims that need to be reimbursed to the employees. Depending on the value of this constant, the system will decide the eligibility for annual reimbursements of employees.

Note: The proration logic delivered via this payroll constant works only for the annual reimbursements.

  1. Enter one of the below values in the Value field for the payroll constant:
    1. 0 – If the value of this constant is set to 0, the system will check the number of days the employee was a part of the organization for that financial year. This number of days is then used for the proration of the annual reimbursement eligibility of the employee. This is the default value of the constant.
    2. 1 - If the value of this constant is set to 1, the system will first arrive at the monthly reimbursement eligibility, by taking into consideration the annual reimbursement eligibility for the relevant claim type. This monthly eligibility is derived depending on the number of days employee was a part of the organization in a specific month. The annual eligibility for employee is then calculated by adding the monthly eligibility for whole year.
