VV_T511K_GRYRN - Maintain Constant to round off years of service for gratuity exemption

In this customizing activity, you can set the value of the Round years of service for GRY (GRYRN) payroll constant. The constant holds the value based on which the system decides how the years of service is calculated for the gratuity exemption.

1. Enter one of the below values in the Value field for the payroll constant:
1. 0 – The system truncates the additional months served by an employee and considers the last completed number of years as the years of service in the calculation of gratuity exemption.
2. 1 – The system checks the additional number of months after a whole year is completed. If the employee has completed 6 months or less than that after completing a full year, then the system truncates the additional months served by an employee and considers the last completed number of years as the years of service in the calculation of gratuity exemption. However, if the employee completes a few more days or months after 6 months, then that year is also added to the years of service in the calculation of gratuity exemption. This is the default value of the constant.
