In this IMG activity you assign a release procedure workflow to every release procedure of a release object. The technical processing of the various release procedures realizes the release procedure workflows in the system.
- You have made the settings in IMG activity Assign Release Procedure to Release Object for the release object in question.
- You have made the settings in IMG activity Assign Rule to Release Steps for the release object in question.
SAP supplies the following different workflow templates for the Framework for the Principle of Dual Control:

| 50100021 | Release procedure with one release step based on a BOR object |
| 50100022 | Release procedure with two release steps based on a BOR object |
| 50100023 | Release procedure with three release steps based on a BOR object |
| 55100597 | Release procedure with up to ten release steps based on an ABAP class |
Note that the usage type of the SAP workflow must suit the selected workflow template.
If you need to adjust the workflows supplied, assign a release procedure workflow to the various release procedures of a release object. You can use the workflow templates for a general release object supplied for the application or your own, by copying those supplied and adjusting them to suit your requirements.
