V_ARO_COMPONENT - Define Application component

In this Customizing activity, you define the component and component-specific data structure in the framework for SAP S/4HANA for accounting integration. Components are applications that call up the framework to trigger processes in SAP Accounting. Transaction data and Customizing data are stored separately for each component in SAP S/4HANA for accounting integration.

• The Ref. Procedurevalue is used in the one-time posting process to identify the sending application for the accounting part.

Note:

Changes to these settings can only be made by SAP.

The component name AROis used for the Asset Retirement Obligation part of the overall business process.
