V_BG_TYPE - Define Bank Guarantee Types

Define the bank guarantee types that you need.

When you create a bank guarantee transaction, you need to specify a bank guarantee type from those defined.

The following bank guarantee types are predefined for you:

• ADVP: Advance Payment Guarantee

• BILL: Bill of Lading Guarantee

• CRED: Credit Facilities Guarantee

• CSTD: Guarantee for Compensation Trade

• CUST: Customs Guarantee

• LEAS: Lease Guarantee

• PAYM: Payment Guarantee

• PGCO: Performance Guarantee (Contractual Obligation)

• PGDO: Performance Guarantee (Delivery Obligation)

• PGWO: Performance Guarantee (Warranty Obligation)

• TEND: Tender Guarantee

You can also define other guarantee types if needed.

You have defined product types under product category 860 (Bank Guarantee) in the Customizing activity Define Product Types.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter a 4-digit name for the bank guarantee type.
3. Enter a description.
4. Save your entries.
