V_BOEVENT - Retrieve Event Details from Abstract Entity

In this Customizing activity, you can retrieve the event details from abstract entities and store them for further processing.

You can perform the following:

  • You can retrieve event details from abstract entities.
  • You can perform consistency checks for the events.
  • You can transport the event details.

You can select the events and store the event information in the following tables:

  • Event Code and Task Mapping for SAP Object Type (BEH_I_EVENT).
  • Text for Event Code and Task Mapping Table (BEH_I_EVENTT)

You need to have a transport request with a task in your name.

  1. Choose Get Events.
  2. Filter for the required SAP object type.
  3. Select the rows for which you need to store the data in the tables: Event Code and Task Mapping for SAP Object Type (BEH_I_EVENT) and Text for Event Code and Task Mapping Table (BEH_I_EVENTT).
  4. Choose Transport. You get a pop-up asking for confirmation.
  5. Select the transport request and choose Continue. A success message is displayed if the selected entries are locked in the task and if the entries are stored in the tables Event Code and Task Mapping for SAP Object Type (BEH_I_EVENT) and Text for Event Code and Task Mapping Table (BEH_I_EVENTT).
  6. If there is an error, perform the steps below, otherwise continue with step 7.
  • If you get an error message, choose Check to get the error details.

  • Once the error is resolved, start again from step 1.

  1. Release the task.
  2. Release the transport request.
Result: The selected entries are stored in the tables Event Code and Task Mapping for SAP Object Type (BEH_I_EVENT) and Text for Event Code and Task Mapping Table (BEH_I_EVENTT).
