V_CCBP_COMM_CUST - Define Communication Context

In this IMG activity you can define the communication context to control how business partner information is sent to another system.

The communication context is used as a selection criterion in the function Send Business Partner Information.

You have stored the export object type in the change notification service and the receiver ID in the following IMG activities:

• Activate Application for Change Notification Service

• Activate Receiver(s) for Change Notification Service

To define the communication context, make settings in the following fields:

• Communication Context

• Name of Proxy Class for the Communication Context

• Name of Service Implementation for SAP Business Partner

• Type of Export Object in Change Notification Service

• Receiver ID

• Name of Implementing Class for the Message Composer

• Name of Proxy Class for Business Partner Read Access

• Package Size for Selection of Business Partners

• Package Size for Sending Messages

• Change Category

You are processing two communication contexts with the function Send Business Partner Information. In communication context A you call a service that creates objects in a different system. In communication context B you make changes in the other system.

For communication context A, choose the change category Create, and for communication context B, choose the change category Change. The system now sends the information for communication context A before that for communication context B.
