The manufacturer code is used to unambiguously identify the manufacturer of a product during coupon processing.

This is particularly important for coupon processing with external clearing, since the manufacturer code facilitates the identification of the coupon for the clearing house. The manufacturer codes you maintain here can be selected under Coupons when maintaining data for coupons with external clearing.

The manufacturer code can be used together with the family code to allow more precise specification of your products.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter a combination of numbers for your manufacturer code.
3. Enter a description for your manufacturer code.
4. Save your entries.
