V_CRM_MKT_UISC - Define Marketing User Interface Scenarios

In this activity you define user interface scenarios for marketing campaigns. You can use these UI scenarios to configure variable WebClient UI layouts for your campaign types.

You define the layout in the corresponding WebClient UI for a campaign type by choosing the configuration mode (button Configure Page). In the configuration mode, the configuration of your UI scenario is saved in the field Subobject Type.

Note:
UI scenarios are only supported for campaigns (marketing project category CP).

You have enabled the configuration mode in the WebClient UI under Personalize -> Personalize Settings -> Enable Configuration Mode.

1. Define a UI scenario with the marketing project category CPin this Customizing activity.
2. Navigate to the Customizing activity Define Types/Objectives/Tactics. Open the detail screen for the corresponding campaign type (= type of marketing project with category Campaign) and assign your UI scenario entry on the Settings subscreen.
3. To configure the layout of a campaign with a certain campaign type, open the pages in the WebClient UI. Choose Configure Pageto switch to the configuration mode. Restrict the layout to those data fields that are required for campaign maintenance. Save your UI scenario settings in the configuration mode as a subobject type.
